I grew up in East Tennessee & Western North Carolina, fishing creeks, ponds, and local smallmouth lakes. Then after Retiring from the Military and returning to East Tennessee. I started fishing the local Bass Clubs and Federation events, along with Operation Bass RedMan Circuit. This led to becoming a Professional Angler and fishing the National Smallmouth Trail where I qualified for the Classic 6 out of 7 years. Also fished BASSMASTERS INV Circuit, BASS Weekend Series, Operation Bass (FLW Outdoors) RedMan Circuit, FLW EverStart Circuit, FLW Stren Series, FLW Texas Tournament Trail Series, Bass Fishing League, and many local and regional tournament events. About seven years ago we relocated to Sam Rayburn Reservoir, where I took a couple of years off the tournament circuits, to learn this great East Texas lake, and establish my Guide Service. I'm a full time Professional Angler & Fishing Guide, the owner and operator of Team Hillbilly Outdoors . We provide Team Hillbilly Guide Service, and offer early season Duck Hunts on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. I'm known and respected as one of the Top Professional Anglers and competitors on the bass circuits and a Top Licensed Guide on East Texas lake Sam Rayburn.
